“ Haven't been in a friendly's in some time. Fiance surprised me with it and I enjoyed every bit of it. Forgot to take pictures of everything but started with mini mozzarella sticks and they were so good. Had a chicken fingers meal while she had a lobster roll Connecticut style. Both came out great, portions were good for the money. Finished off with some regular ice cream, can't leave without having ice cream. All in all, really glad this is here, will definitely be coming back. ”

“ To me Friendly's is classic and iconic. I remember it used to be my grandmother's favorite place to stop for lunch and ice cream. I remember when my daughter was little a bowl of the clam chowder was her favorite. We stopped in the Newton location for lunch. We of course both ordered NE Clam Chowder which was delish. Hasn't changed a bit. My husband got the "Legendary Honey BBQ Chicken SuperMelt". It was yummy and he was impressed with the crispiness of the sandwich. I ordered the "Reuben Supermelt". Again very tasty. The corned beef was lean and not salty. Toasted crispy not greasy. We got onion rings not fries. The cook did a great job. Sometimes food like this can be greasy and heavy. Our meal was not. The cook did a good job. The waitress was friendly, fast and efficient. Many restaurants are understaffed and overworked these days. I appreciate the people out there working hard! ”
